Spring Break Art Camp @ Zarrow

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
5 - 6 years old at Gilcrease Museum
7 - 12 years old at Zarrow Art Center
Half-Day Classes:
Monday-Friday: $100/members, $125/not-yet members
All-Day Classes:
Monday-Friday: $200/members, $250/not-yet members
Registration is required.

Celebrate spring break week with creative art activities that inspire young artists. Morning and/or afternoon classes are available for children 7-12 years old. Sign up for half-day session for the week, or bring a sack lunch and stay all day. Extended hours until 5:00 are available.

Zarrow Center Program Descriptions

7 - 9 years old

9:00 a.m. - Noon
Mixed Media Magic
Instructor: Deborah Kingsbury
Explore the colorful world of art and get a taste of it all by using a variety of art materials to create paintings, print-making, collages and 3-D paper-mache works of art.

1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Native American Art
Instructor: Abbey Haughey
Learn about Native American art and culture while creating a wide range of art projects. Weaving, clay, printmaking, painting, drawing and jewelry making will be included.

9 - 12 years old

9:00 a.m. - Noon
Multimedia Art
Instructor: Jennifer Van Patten
Experience both 2-D and 3-D art in this fun class that covers Degas-inspired figures, confetti bowls, blow up butterflies and abstract paintings.

1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Texture Time
Instructor: Julie Massey
Discover how to create art using fibers and materials in creative ways. This class covers weaving, batiks, beading, macramé and more!


Opens January 19, 2015 for Gilcrease Museum members.
Opens February 2, 2015 for not-yet members.

Camp Cancellation & Refund policy

Cancellations received more than two weeks before the start date of a class will result in a full refund. Cancellations received less than two weeks before the start date of a class, will not be eligible for a refund.
