5/26/2011 - Officials at the world-famous Palazzo Pitti museum in Florence, Italy, announced plans this week for an exhibition of Native American material and culture to be curated by Gilcrease Museum. The exhibition will open in July 2012 at the Palazzo Pitti and will run through January 2013.

Zarrow Center for Arts and Education Coming to Tulsa
3/8/2011 - Tulsans will be able to enjoy an artistic center and have more access to arts education after renovations of the Mathews Warehouse are completed. Construction is underway on the warehouse in the Brady District, spanning the city block between Boston and Cincinnati Avenues.
Photography Takes Spotlight in "Faces of the Frontier: Photographic Portraits from the American West, 1845-1924"
10/5/2010 - The touring exhibition, Faces of the Frontier: Photographic Portraits from the American West, 1845-1924, opens Sunday, Oct. 10 at Gilcrease Museum. Presented by the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, the show explores how the American West was dramatically reconstituted during the 80 years between the Mexican War and the passage of the Indian Citizenship Act in 1924. More than 100 photographic portraits in the exhibition tell the story of those who contributed to the transformation of this region.
