The Tulsa Drawing Marathon will adapt both the physical and philosophical format used by the NYC Drawing Marathon. The purpose of this marathon is to investigate drawing as a physical and cerebral activity pushing through time barriers to extend our knowledge of what drawing can become.
It will also be an opportunity to draw from live models and approach the meaning of figure drawing investigating all the components that lead to authentically produced drawings.
