Jean Stern, collector, author, and executive director of the Irvine Museum, discusses his recent donation of West Mexican funerary pottery and figurines to the anthropology collection at Gilcrease Museum. These pieces from the states of Nayarit, Jalisco, and Colima, were created by artisans between 300 B.C. and 1500 A.D. The distinctly different styles of decoration will be explored.

Free and open to the public with paid museum admission.
