Description
This program is offered as a complement to the current exhibition Bending, Weaving, Dancing: The Art of Woody Crumbo. Focusing on the dance ceremonies of the Citizen Potawatomi and Kiowa nations, tribal representatives will demonstrate a variety of contemporary dances. A discussion of their meaning and specific regalia associated with them, as displayed in inter-tribal powwows, will be included.
