Description
Each student will participate in morning and afternoon sessions of engaging and imaginative art lessons based on collections and exhibitions on display at the museum and around the world. A one-hour midday break for lunch and outdoor/free art time will be included each day. Camp will conclude with a Student Art Show in the Gilcrease House on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Family and friends are all welcome to attend.
Note: Mixed Media Magic for K – 2nd graders is now full. Limited openings are still available for Exploring the Whimsy of Imagination for 3rd – 5th graders.
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (extended hours available until 5:30 p.m., $5.00 per child/day)
$125.00/members; $150.00/non-members (fee is for the week and includes all art supplies)

Programs
*FULL* Mixed Media Magic
Teaching Artist: Libby Williams
K – 2nd Grade
Students will explore many of the galleries in the museum including special exhibitions, while also looking at other artists throughout art history like Matisse and Picasso. Students will gain experience making art from direct observation by spending time in the gardens or viewing the Osage Hills from the Vista Room. Projects will include a wide variety of materials to complete projects such as Interactive Insoluble Paintings, Creative Forest Collages and Life-Sized Self Portraits.
Exploring the Whimsy of Imagination
Teaching Artist: Kate Johnson
3rd – 5th Grade
Students will spend quality time creating individual works of art that incorporate multimedia and in-depth storytelling. Drawing inspiration from the museum’s exhibition Dreams and Visions: The American West and the Legacy of Imagination, students will explore related stories and materials to develop projects such as dioramas, landscape paintings, and art books.

Camp Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations received more than two weeks before the start date of a class will result in a full refund. Cancellations received less than two weeks before the start date of a class, will not be eligible for a refund.
