The Osage Restaurant at Gilcrease Museum will close for approximately 6-7 weeks starting Wednesday, Sept. 30, as the restaurant prepares for new management. The museum had hoped to resume the popular Sunday brunch on Oct. 11, but this has been temporarily postponed pending issues related to the food service management transition. Daily restaurant service is expected to resume in late November.
The museum currently is streamlining its food service and catering operations by partnering with Sodexo, the leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services in North America. Sodexo also provides food service for The University of Tulsa campus, including special events and catering.
Bill Harris, who formerly owned and operated Thyme Bistro and now works with Sodexo’s TU food service, will serve as the restaurant chef.
